Milestone birthday celebrations are a specialty for the Mask Events team. We take such pleasure in creating a unique experience for your special event. And Lesley’s 60th birthday party was no exception. Against the stunning backdrop of Maleny Botanic Gardens, we brought a Boho Moroccan theme to life.
Firstly, a charter bus brought guests in from where their celebrations had started in Maroochydore. No one needs to drive at our events, when the host is so thoughtful! Upon arriving at the garden, guests were greeted by the mouth-watering sight of a long grazing table. Here the guests gathered to break bread and catch-up with old friends over a drink.
After enjoying the abundant delicacies of the grazing table, guests tried their hand at a variety of lawn games or relaxed in the chill-out section set up beside the main table.
The lush greenery and beautiful florals of the surrounding hinterland were enhanced even further with the styling choices of reds, golds and browns, peppered throughout the space.
Weather is always a factor we consider when setting up an outdoor event, so we were well prepared in the event of rain. Luckily, the sun shone for the beginning of Lesley’s birthday celebration and guests were able to enjoy the beauty of the setting before the sunset over the hinterland.
This was a new venue for Mask to hold celebrations in, and we were so happy with the results we created. The styling and surrounds blended perfectly to create a stunning event. Our goal is to be able to use this venue again as it would work well for many events, from corporate to wedding.
And we’re very happy to say that Lesley agreed:

The view was stunning, we didn’t get the sunset but we got a rainbow, the cloud, mist and rain looked amazing as well. The table setting and styling was absolutely stunning, I don’t think I even dreamed it could be that beautiful. The gourmet food was fantastic, a huge hit. Please pass onto everyone a huge thank you for all their work up at the gardens. I have those wonderful memories etched into my mind forever. Thank you for the photos. They are awesome. Thank you for everything again. My party couldn’t have been in better hands.’
