National teams don’t always get to connect in personal and meaningful ways, and that was no exception for this Australian company. But after Mask Events planned their corporate team building day, they were no longer strangers to fun or each other.
The company asked Mask Events to create the perfect team building experience that would develop collaboration and comradery between employees.
At Mask, we make sure our team building events are a day to be remembered. We incorporate lots of enjoyable activities for the team, that will result in impactful outcomes for the business. We love creating events that help build relationships and enhance communication, in a non-cringey, super amusing way. Nobody rolls their eyes at the idea of “team building” when Mask is on the case!
Soon after arriving on the Sunshine Coast, the national team were whisked away to the Maroochy River for a fun and engaging afternoon.
After a quick welcome and briefing, the team moved into a Raft Building exercise. The task was specifically tailored around their brand and ideals. The team was broken down into smaller groups that were all working together towards a common goal; building a raft that actually floats! Various challenges throughout the exercise encouraged interaction between the groups, highlighting communication skills, trust and team building.
Following the Raft Building, the team continued to build relationships and gain a great sense of culture with 2 more awesome activities.
A successful day of working together, improving communication and creating memories were thirsty work! After the session wrapped up, the team headed to Good Bar in Mooloolaba to unwind and bond over the memories of the day. We can confirm they were all a lot closer for the experience.
What the team had to say…
‘Thank you again for your time yesterday – it was a great day. We all had a great time and a few good laughs as well as memories created together as a team. Thank you so much for putting it together just for us and we hope that we will have the opportunity to work together again soon.’
